Virtually join us on Wednesday, June 2, at 6:00 pm EST for a Meet the Author event with Elizabeth Chatsworth @ElizabethChatsworth, author of the best-selling steampunk fantasy novel “The Brass Queen,” and writer Gabi Coatsworth as they discuss her book and the ins and outs of this genre.
Elizabeth Chatsworth was born in Sheffield, England, which is the backdrop for her internationally bestselling debut novel, “The Brass Queen.” She writes of rogues, rebels, and renegades across time and space. The book is set in an alternative, steam-powered Victorian Age and takes readers on an adventure like no other. Elizabeth lives in Connecticut with her husband and a rambunctious Yorkshire terrier, Boo, who also features as a character in the book.
Gabi Coatsworth is an award-winning British-born writer and blogger. She’s active in the Connecticut writing community and runs several groups for writers, including a weekly write-in for Pequot Library. Her essays, short fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction have been published in anthologies and literary journals, both in print and online. She enjoys encouraging other writers, long walks, and drinking endless cups of very strong English Breakfast tea.
