As a debut author, it’s an incredible honor for my genre-bending gaslamp fantasy to be chosen from all the thousands of books that are coming out at the end of the year. Due to COVID-19, the publication date of my novel has been pushed from August to January 12th, 2021. This works out for the best as it gives me more time to work on all the lovely preorder goodies I have planned for you! Speaking of the audiobook (see what I did there?), I’ll be heading into the studio in mid-July to start recording the narration. I’ll be live-streaming part of the event, so if you’d like to experience first-hand all that goes into creating an audiobook, this will be your chance! Guest actors will be joining me to add character dialogue and their own inimitable flair to the proceedings.

In the next few weeks, I’ll be proofing the final layout of the novel. The fabulous fantasy artist James A. Owen is creating bespoke internal illustrations and is currently hard at work on the cover. I can’t wait to see what magic he’ll bring to THE BRASS QUEEN!
